Ruby Archer is a prodigiously talented singer-songwriter from the NSW Central Coast who has been brewing her musical magic since childhood. Leading the charge with her band, Ruby and the Groovy Doobies, she brings a unique blend of super funky rock, groovy rhythms, and soulful melodies that create an irresistible sonic experience. Ruby's deeply moving voice, coupled with her commanding stage presence, ensures that her performances are nothing short of extraordinary.

Ruby and the Groovy Doobies have captivated audiences with their dynamic performances. They first gained attention by winning YouthRock 2022 and have since played at major events like Vivid Sydney and the FIFA Fan Festival. Ruby’s list of 2023 achievements include winner of the prestigious 15 Years of triple j's Unearthed High Competition and winner of the Australian Songwriters Association Award Youth Category for her single "New Dream". Her debut album, "Oh So Tender", (funded by Create NSW) has been nominated for the 2024 Australian Music Prize, further cementing her status as one of the most exciting young artists in Australia.

Ruby’s talent has also been recognised by industry veterans, earning her the APRA AMCOS' 23% Mentorship in mid-2024, where she receives professional guidance from the legendary Mark Lizotte (Diesel). Additionally, she was selected as recipient of the 2024 Australian Women in Music Awards, Emerging Artist Award, a testament to her growing influence in the music scene.
