Michael St. George is a Central Coast based writer, singer, songwriter, recording artiste and leader in his field. Born in Portland, Jamaica, of Maroon heritage and having grown up in Kingston and St. Andrew, he dedicates much of his work to social equity and justice. He reminds us of the urgency to examine the conditions of the world and take meaningful steps to ease the suffering of the most vulnerable among us.
With five albums to his credit and number six in the making, Michael continues to perform globally pursuing his mission to help people heal through raising their vibration and rekindling their spiritual connection to the Universe. A Rasta man committed to pushing the boundaries of song and poetry, Michael utilizes the reggae cadence and world beats to connect with diverse audiences in a mood of spiritual consciousness and historical awareness.He has composed and collaborated with international musicians and producers such as Dennis Bovell (UK), Kassa Alexander (UK), Peter Hulong (Canada), Sheldon Bernard (Jamaica), Earl ‘Chinno’ Smith (Jamaica), Paul Kastic, Charles Sinclair (Canada), OKA (Australia), Tatadindin (Gambia), Mafu Konteh, Bambu Konteh (Gambia) Jali Bakery Konteh (UK/Gambia) and more.
